!2 Various Styles,Colors and Brush strokes

Within Art there are various different approaches and techniques towards a surface.
Now if one if paints a piece that is named "Abstract" then this piece was probably created with lots of emotion spontaneously. With abstraction narrative can exist as well as defining characters.
Surrealism is a style that creates a juxtaposition between characters. These paint are usually set in a dream like scape where the juxtaposition is the view of the subconscious.
Conceptual art is a field that is not defined by just painting but more the notion that the viewer should be compelled to interact with the installation or sculpture. The premises is that the artist created this piece not just for the composition but more heavily on the concept.
Pop Art is a style that is a reaction of abstraction towards the removed or suppressed art of a time period.Usually revolving around styles of comic books, advertising, celebrities and everyday objects.
Photorealism is a style of painting that takes a photograph and than reproduces this same picture. The photo produces looks exactly like the photo copied and requires an artist with that has mastered technical styles.
Hyperrealism is a style of art that was an advancement of photorealism. Within this art field one can view that the same technical paintings are now exaggerated with heavier or lighter shadows and may have addition of objects.
Futurism is concerned with the triumph of man over nature. The subject painted usually have to do with future technology that has new forms of speed and violence along with new environments.
Impressionism is a much older style of painting than the previous listed. This style broke the conformity within brushstrokes and form. These pieces show that light and darks were altered and the smallest form of abstraction settled within the paintings.
Fauvism formed a after impressionism giving this style a spark of impressionism. Within these paintings one can view colors to be heavier or altered and for subject matter to become intertwined with the idea of altered colors.
Pointillism is a style of art that uses dots and small strokes of paint to create picture. This is usually done from a larger distance than a study of a model.
Primitivism is when a painting looks like is was painting by a small child. These while be constructed 2-D and with unblended colors with little or no reference of light source.
Minimalism is when an artist creates repetition or concentration of a subject. This can be done with music, painting, sculpture or any other form of artwork.

As in regards to brushstroke techniques one can apply heavy amounts of paint from the brush that gives more texture or heavier color. You can also use no solvent or water on your brush and paint by scumbling which requires layering. There are wild style where people will drag the color across the piece to make a point of the subject. There are confined style were brushstrokes are like dots or small marks to create a bigger picture. Also one can paint with encaustic were you have to use hot wax and then buff out or not depending on desired effect. Someone can paint by gold leafing and the only brushstrokes you will use is to apply the gold leaf for a certain pattern. An artist can use there hands instead of a brush to create primitive and emotion works of art. There is also fat over lean where you put your thinnest layer down with a medium such as oil and than it will take a shorter amount of time for that to dry so you can put heavier paint onto. There is also where you can paint a picture and than remove paint with a solvent to create negative space.

Within color there can be different meanings and emotions behind each color. One could say that the primary colors can be various emotions. Like red being passionate.blue being soothing and yellow being stimulating. Than with secondaries orange could be stimulating yet passionate color. Purple could be passionate yet soothing which may entail a sort of concentric emotion. Green with yellow and blue could create a motionless feel with being created by exocentric and concentric colors which can neutralize. These are examples of how colors can work but they are not the definition because i think colors can mean various aspects. to every person.
