the narrative of the painting is the story of the body art that the figure possesses. It is engaging because it gives the figure a very supernatural or superior representation and reads with purpose. I don't think there is much that could strengthen the piece it has so many very strong qualities. also the formal elements are strong both the composition and choices of lighting in each piece represent the figure well.
