This is Erin Frost
"By perpetually exposing and disguising herself, Erin Frost's intimate self-portraits examine themes of identity, fantasy, and the construct of self. "
Her portraits deconstruct identity and surface.
The surface is deconstructed because she cuts and rearranges her photographs; identity is deconstructed because she is breaking up her figure, making it a little difficult to see what exactly you are looking at.
Her technique is effective because she is experimenting with some themes that are clearly conveyed in her work.
I suppose there is some narrative. She looks like she is thinking about something. I'm not sure what she is thinking about, but I am curious because of her clothing and because of the environment.
